I prefer adoration, love ,faithfulness, and appreciation. That is more important than material things.

Diamonds are not my best friend
Friendship and faithfulness are

Diamonds are not my best friend
I prefer for you to shower me with your love

Diamonds are not my best friend
staying true to the vows you made are

Diamonds are not my best friend
showing me the utmost respect is better

Diamonds are not my best friend
loving me unconditionally will bring
me greater joy than a precious stone

Diamonds are not my best
But you are,because you are faithful, loving
understanding, patient and most of all you
show me the greatest respect by loving me unconditionally

Well spoken, Nicole.

Who fights in divorce court over unconditional, faithful love nourished by respect? No one that I've seen.

But I've personally seen hundreds of couples in divorce court
fighting over diamonds.

There's a courtroom saying, "Res ipsa loquitur/The thing speaks for itself."

You nailed it, Nicole.
