Friday 17th July

*They said it would rain* *but what the heck* *I'm going down* *for a walk along The Thames.* *As it turned out* *they were almost wrong* *the rain never fell* *till I was heading home.* *Walked along Southbank* *near The London Eye,* *so many street artists* *as you pass by.* *Stopped off at the Southbank Center* *saw a free concert* *had a drink* *it couldnt be better.* *Still the Sun shone* *so I walked to Charing Cross* *by the time I reached Trafalgar Square* *the rain did its worst.* *It made no difference* *I was heading home* *just nice to take a stroll* *along The Thames* *while the Sun shone.*
