Ted always saw himself as an electronics buff,to some degree that was true , he would be able to diagnose most problems, as well as fixing many of them.

Perhaps that is why his garage was no longer for the wagon, but had been fitted out with a workshop desk, along with a fanfare of testing tools.

So you can understand who took a look at his HD television when it started to malfunction, you got it.

For what ever reason it was not staying on the preset stations, a lot of the time it seemed to be searching. He had the tuner out and was testing its functions, at the same time watching the tv screen as each station preset was checked. It was when he started to readjust one channel that tv screen turned into a snowy disply of blue dots accompanied by a loud hiss. The hiss grew more intense, despite the volume being turned right down, and no matter what he did the snowy blue dots could not be tuned out.

Frustrated he stood there for several minutes trying to understand the problem, it was then he noticed that the blue dots all had different numbers on them, this astounded him as he thought that the dots were just interferance.

He became quite obsessed with the dots, watching their pattern and checking any system in the numbering. A half hour had passed and he had not moved from the tv screen, well he had not noticed he had moved, but not from the tv screen. He had moved to the otherside of the tv screen, he was in the screen image. 

It was when he reached for his screwdiver that he realised he was not on the outside, but on the inside looking out. Frantically he tried to rationalize his situation and called for help, but the loud hiss of white noise overode any calls for help.

He banged loudly on the inside of the screen and was becoming quite ill with sheer confusion.

His wife who had been shopping had returned in her car, as she opened the boot she called Ted for help. "Ted! Ted?"

From inside the garage she could hear the loud hiss and looked inside, "Ted?" she called. He could faintly hear her and shouted loudly. She thought she heard him then reasoned that the noise from the tv was too loud so she switched it off. "Ted!" she shouted, she walked into the house, "Ted?" she called anxious as to where he was. 

However Ted was gone, the tv had been turned off, he was no longer inside the system; he was no longer inside the house, he was no longer.
