Wise words old man
they said as he looked around
then he nodded his head
as he then sat down.
The boardroom fools
who beg and scrape
affraid their mouths to open
only uttering whats expected
Yet if truth were spoken
that was not what their thinking,
they hated every word
of his retort
yet in a spiders web
are caught.
He controls their lives
the old time master
always stalking
right behind you,
'Nothing to do eh! Johnson?'
'Get your cards, your fired.'
thats was how he became
the one in charge
and not the one
who was hired.
Put little on plates
keep them hungry
then offer them leftovers
always on Sunday,
work them so hard
that they beg for mercy,
you give them a coin
and they think your saintly,
'My Lord'
they call him
'How nobel you are,'
And they know how foolish
they look from afar.
If they did not
sing his praise
a begging bowl might be
in their hands someday.
