Everyday lives are pressured, yet some manage to escape, find happy moments in thoughts. |

|
I stood for some time
just watching
in real time,
people about their business
passing
me by.
Some were vexed
their faces forlorn
others on mobiles
words open aloud,
what I noticed
was every now and then
a smiling face would pass
it was so inspiring.
They appeared so happy
disconnected with
lifes endless
busy ways,
perhaps they knew
of Peter Pan
could dream
of ways to escape,
knew of Never Never Land
and endless
happy days,
maybe they knew
of Captain Hook
but were still able
to laugh.
