My hand reaches out you're not there to touch your face caress your hair to hold you close but you're gone from day to night and dusk to dawn but my hand still reaches out to grasp the emptiness that was you

Gem of a write...I salute you....short but to the point...thats what real poems are all about...clap clap clap....very very expressive write....love n luck....BHUWAN!!!

The simple lines of this are perfect to express that lonely feeling that most of us have felt at least once or twice in our lifes. To have the warmth of another's body next to ours then to lose that warmth either physically or emotionally is deveastatingly lonely.
