Loves Much

For those who don't understand why I write primarily of my love for Jesus and His love for us, I say...
if you had walked in my shoes for even one day then you would understand my gratitude and why I give Him 'all' the Glory & 'all' the Praise. One who has been forgiven much...loves much. Pressing-on.

Poem Artwork

   I pray that one day...

you'll come to understand.

I pray because...

I once walked the same barren land

scorning those that spoke of

how much they...Loved God...

in such a boisterous, personal way.

They annoyed me...

with all their unnecessary... 'praise array'.

'They were,' I said, ' just trying to get attention...

so, don't come in my face...

with all that...hypocritical intention'.

Yes, I can relate to the anger

and resentment...as such

but, knowing now...

if one would... only allow...

just a gentle touch

of ...His Enlightening Love...

He would open the ...blind eye

and the closed heart, as He did mine...

whereby, one could...fully grasp

the 'Depths' of...God's Love Divine.

Ere, one would, in fact...

lose their casual acceptance

of the World's...Unsurpassed Redeeming Act.

Yea, we Glorify Him for Good Reason,

for...He...who Suffered and Died...

plucked us from damnation's mire...

saving us from hell's fire.

He...is More than Worthy of

our adoring gaze

indeed...our overflowing praise.

And it should...never...cease to be

for He rescued and we are...forever free.

Without shame, we Magnify and Love much...

Jesus, Who Alone...

has saved us from the gin.

Albeit now, nor will we...ever...hush

our uninhibited, exhuberent...Praise of Him!

Psalm 149:13, Eccl 3: 1 & 4, Luke 7:37-48

God sometimes gets crossed with some people's "you wanna believe me" because they sometimes distract Him when we play chess, and I would appreciate very much if the goody-goody could cut it off, it throws His game and He resort to cheat, so people, be sincere or not at all! you hear?

Beautifully inspirational, Joyce. We can never walk in another's shoes, but sometimes their pain, hopes, tears, fears, problems and sucesses, when measured by our own, can wring empathy from our passions and bring understanding.
