Is There a Doctor in The House?!
I have no peace
I have no joy
The enemy ravages
uses me for a toy...
I know what's good
and I know what's right
But it seems like...'not even trying'
is my plight...
Is There a Doctor in The House?!
I got this ache
deep within
Distorts my vision
makes it dim...
I want to praise the Creator
and shout
But somehow
it just won't come out...
Is There a Doctor in The House?!
Say - can I get some help?
I want to survive
Feel good about myself...
rejoice at being alive
I need to affirm the gift
that I know is here in me
...Lay my burdens down
Feel free..!
Is There a Doctor in The House?!
Yes!
Is it one who can understand me?
Yes!
Is it one who can strengthen me?
Yes!
Is it one who can heal me?
Yes!
Is it one who can redeem me?
Yes!
Is such a Doctor in The House?!!
Yes!
What's His Name??!!

I think when we bow down in prayer at an altar in church or beside our bed, we come to God in our most humble spirit. Perhaps we sometimes have to heal the mind--of the tons of accumulated baggage from years past--before we can heal the body and spirit.
I read this today: The Apostle John said: 'God is love, and anyone who lives in love is living with God and God is living in him.'
Love also makes us humble and more subject to being and becoming what God intended for us.
Your write was most inspiring, as you can note by my response. Good job, Joyce.
Blessings,
Christine
