Prayer is one of a Christian's most powerful weapons. It is a direct communication with our Lord and Savior and it is based on Faith. The Holy Bible says, One must believe...that He is and is a rewarder of those that 'diligently' seek Him. First, establishing that what we are praying for is a 'good thing', remember...we won't always receive an answer right away but even if God says, 'wait' or 'no'...He does always, always answer. Thus, we should never stop praying even when it 'seems' like God has turned a deaf ear to our pleas. No matter how long its been or how discouraged we might feel...we continue to pray and trust God for an answer. And as we continue, in Faith, God Himself will strengthen us and encourage our hearts. I have heard testimonies of many faithful pleas being answered after the one praying has departed this life. Thus, we won't always 'see' our prayers answered on this side, but they will be answered. And keep in mind that throughout our day we can go to God at any time...in our hearts and in our minds, He is always there...24/7. So try to remember as often as you can ...pray!

Oh, how wonderful are the words you have written here, Joyce. It is such a beautiful reminder of the fact that our thoughts should always be directed toward God and his desire for us to keep Him within the bounds of our heart all the way down to and including each second of every day. Joyce, my earth angel. "PRAY!" is a clarion call from Abba Father's throne room....so timely and urgent is the call! Powerfully written with the finger of God.....yes, each word is filled with His breath!

I have personally witnessed the power of prayer.
Having been taken from the tenacals of Parkinson's
And restored my sanity and hope for a better life
This could only have been done by all the saints interceeding
Dayly pleading
Scripture reading
Not my will
But by the blood of Jesus Christ
AMEN.
May I give HIM all the Glory and power
ALL the rest of my days
He allows me to stay.
