Thoughts of Spring...our lips...and the King
Pressing on.

Poem Artwork

While walking the other day

I passed colorful tulips along the way

and thought how our tu-lips of every hue

can do what tulips do

inspiring all to welcome spring

by giving praises to the King of Kings

  I'm grateful for You, Lord

for Your world

and all the 'Love' You've sown

though some don't know to thank You

evidenced in the small amount

they've shown

You brought-forth everything

with more than one purpose

in mind...

prompting us to use our tu-lips

to lift and spread 'Your Glory' to all

man-kind

Is 42:5-7, 2Corn 4:6, Matt 5:16

I really liked the poem. I love tulips. Each year the town of Hardwick, Vt used to have a tulip festival. My parents always took me. . We all enjoyed the various floats with their multi colored flowers.....M

The Dutch saw tulips and said they were good. They made a big business of them and spread them for good. When I see tulips, I think of the planter. Narcissus grow wild, but tulips are beholder. Still, tulips are beautiful with a short time they last.
