Joyce your acrostic poem spells out a true message..."smile and the word smiles with you"...and so I do...every day...use the simple gesture to spread a joy...I smile at passing...total strangers....mostly sad faces...and they smile back at me...always..it makes me feel happy...we acknowledge humanity in each other...we promote peace...

The bad gets amplified because it catches our attention. It's big news. Unlike the Sun that shines down on us every day and provides us with so much that we forget that smile sometimes and how sunny it looks when we do.
Tell me about it, JMS! ......as for me, for lack of a better choice, I have put a positive spin on current happenings by thinking of it as an opportunity for poets worldwide to write, write and write some more about these Lamentations, like Solomon did back in the day.
