Sometimes we think we understand the Word of God. Not all of it, of course, but 'some' of it. For instance, certain scriptures. We think we understand exactly what He's saying. Then something happens that reminds us... that let's us know we've only skimmed the surface, for...the understanding of God's Word is... endless! He reveals this to us when He takes us to a...deeper 'unforgettable' place of peace. Pressing-on.

*That place...* *that place of peace* *of which the Word of God speaks* *Is it real?* *does it exist...* *where, albeit...tranquility persist?* *I suppose - one would only know* *if one had been exposed* *to such a raucous spell* *and amazingly found...* *a place of quell* *Just the other day* *there within my usual fray* *a presence...it descended* *an awareness came - splendid* *Consciousness did not flee* *I was very present - still me* *but without 'everything' but...Him!* *with every portal swathed within* *It appeared as if only for a moment* *time was not a component* *'in this world, but not of it'* *I partook of a divine visit* *It wasn't like previously* *as I had esteemed* *not at all like I 'thought'* *or how I understood - keen* *'Twas far beyond a realm* *of realized deepest hope* *but an atmosphere so 'golden'* *mere words...allude description, I grope* *It wasn't long* *it didn't have to be* *the enlightenment that I felt* *'twas more than enough for me...* *In the end and now 'everything'* *will be all right - this I know* *despite the havoc and the frizz* *God is...and forever will be - in control* *Only now... I can see* *His Words...my comprehension* *now 'clearer' are His Lines* *which I was sure I did know* *I was given a 'memory'...for eternity* *which I'll 'never' let go!* *a Peace - come from Jehovah* *enabling me to go on* *...standing* *A Peace - dispelling, annulling doubt* *yet...surpassing* *'all'* *understanding* *An...Unforgettable Place!* *Phil 4:7, John 14:27* *copyright;jmsbell;3/20/16*

You had a hallucination, dream, or daydream. Everyone has these. Often they are triggered by thoughts or experiences we have had or having. Therefore, they can be rather self-fulfilling. So I wouldn't deny that you had a vision commensurate with your normal thinking.

Think of it as you will� It's just your brain shuffling memories between short-term and long-term.

These visions, that become, as you say, a memory, are few and far between. That is why it is essential to hold on to them. A fine piece of poetry here, thoughtful and thought-provoking about that other, mysterious presence we call God. "The kingdom of God is within you." John
