Jesus Is Near!

To substantiate that each inspiration I share is biblical, it is always followed by scriptures. It is really up to the reader as to whether or not they want to look them up. But this time, I am asking that you please read the scriptures that are listed. I ask this because we are truly walking in the end-times. This world, as we know it, will soon be no more and every news item substantiates that the Word of God is true . God has promised to keep those that trust Him in 'perfect peace', so let's not be disillusioned by the earth's 'conditions'. In these grievous times we are kept by the Mercy and Grace of a Loving God that is nearer...than He's ever been!

Poem Artwork

We do not exist on beds of roses

nor do we partake of ‘sweet’ fare

The only thing that keeps us? we know

...Jesus is near

Our springs don’t contain untainted waters

that are worry free and crystal clear

The only thing that keeps us? we know

...Jesus is near

This earth’s condition shouldn't lead us to dance

for in hearts as truth bellows…the end does glare!

And the only thing that sustains…we know

...Jesus is near

Hammers attack even NATO, as trash

my God! my God! Your prophecy is here!

Armageddon’s storm approaches fast

hallelujah! We’re safe within His…Love Lair!

It's through His Spirit we know…

with His Banner over us…so dear

…Jesus is…near!

you said, the only thing that keeps us? Jesus is near

I think you are right that we are in a dire situation and we have a right to be worried. It is strong comfort that "He is near". A fine poem. John
