Our Wonderful God has ‘lifted’ and taken us through another day, and we ‘press on’ by…His Power…not ours!

Poem Artwork

Here we are, O Lord…

Lifted!

Above turbulent waters that surrounds!

Another day and hour…

Lifted!

Just when we thought…we’d drown!

Lifted…in the Glory of Your Majesty!

Lifted…to keep our minds…stayed on Thee!

Lifted! By You, O Lord…Lifted!

Psalm 3:3, Isa 26:3

If ever there was a time for this poem, it is now. Depression has hit me hard and I needed to read this, my friend. Thank you for you comforting words.

Love ya!

Fantastic Joyce! A glimpse of Easter in a colorful poetic snapshot. No bunny, no eggs, no baskets. But real hope and love that is beyond human understanding. We might die before this is over. but that is when eternity kicks in and we will experience something that we can't really describe on paper. Happy Easter Joyce!

No one can raise us up like our Lord Jesus Christ, Thank you dear poet friend, for sharing your faith and your talented pen . xo

As only He can lift us, and He does that often, even when we are in the lowest doldrums of sorrow. Many times, I felt too low to even read the Bible--until I halfheartedly read a few verses and was pulled into reading more. There I found peace and encouragement with strength for the trial.
Joyce, you know I love your poetry. Thank you for this.

Love,
Connie

Lifted and uplifted. I take one day at a time, just as you suggest.

The Ghost of Mavis by Mary Lynn Plaisance

Mavis asked, "Am I a ghost again? I don't remember being a ghost, but I know I was." Do you believe in reincarnation?
