When I awoke one morning, following a storm…the electric power in the building where I live was off. It seems that, though we have an emergency generator to prevent this from occurring, during the night it had happened anyway. This drew me to the Word of God… (Heb 11:1) ‘Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’. And I thought of how, though the matter be small like a power outage or large like a pandemic, when ‘the unexpected’ arises, that obscures ‘the norm of things’ we must try to remember… the Almighty Power of God’s Presence, is still…so Near! So, while waiting for the lights to come back on this inspiration came to me…

Being omnipresent, HE is all places in His creation at once. For the born-again, He dwells within us, and as a consequence, He seals us for the day of redemption. If God is so near and God is so all loving, why does God continually send all of these trials and tribulations to his chosen ones? We must beware loving those who treated us badly. The psychological problem is called codependency. When we start liking what is really bad for us and fostering it.
