For me…every day is a day of Rest

the Blood of Calvary paid this price

Secured for us by Salvation’s Quest

our Yoke Reliever…is Jesus Christ

Since God Himself rested on True Sabbath

we dare not ignore this…Biblical Fact

But realize, with ripped veil…cometh

a continuous Rest…never to retract

So, every moment is a…Rest…surely

and God, He knew…we would need it

This gift flows…like the rolling sea

whether we walk, run, stand or sit

Oh, Blessed Savior so Divine…

I’m grateful each and every hour

For a perpetual Rest that shines

reflecting…Your Love’s Eternal Power

Many beliefs…are in…a dispute pot

but it’s a…trick…of the enemy to divide us

As when the sediment floats to the top

there remains…Jesus…who is more than enough

Albeit, let feuding cease…lay burdens down…

beneath His Cross…that has stood the test

Running together to get our crown

for Our God is Trinity…He…is our Rest
