Whatever may be happening in our lives; In the morning when we rise…let’s embrace Jesus. Then, Press on…amen!

Poem Artwork

As I rise…

the arias of Jah’s feathered manifestations…

greet me…

they welcome the seeping bright of heaven’s…

…majesty

A marvelous reminder…my solitude is not

bemoaned…

I belong to the Creator of this earth, I am

His own

And regardless…this world’s many atrocity

trails…

I see His Amazing Love… guiding, faithful to

prevail

Corresponding chords of worship begin to ring

in my soul…

my heart soars like a flag waving jubilantly

on a pole

Then I too sing to a Magnificent God, who gives

favor…

and I go forth…unto a new day, gratefully aware…

of Him, who is…My Savior

…As I rise

Psalm 5:3, Psalm 30: 4-5

Every morning, I'm grateful for someone to get me out of bed where I have been way too long with aching muscles and bones. With their help, I rise, and am glad to get to work.

"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others." Marcus Tullius Cicero. Your piece, JMS Bell, reminded me of a hymn I learned as a child. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace." Your faith shines. r

Gratitude is possibly the most overlooked virtue. Gratitude for all the blessings that we have, even amid the hardships.

Gratitude for each and every day, where Faith is renewed afresh…
Though there are very challenging situations to face…but
Our God, Creator’s almighty love shall prevail…

Such uplifting words Joyce…that help to see us through these
extremely challenging times…

Awesome and beautifully stated Joyce ! The hummingbird to me represents not just Gods little creation but pure "joy" as they dance, prance and drink the "sweetness" of life!! Yes in my greatest disrepair in 2003 when I was once homeless about to throw the towel in a beautiful hummingbird was my sign God loved me and commanded the spirit of suicide off me. Every time I see these signs I know His mercy endures forever..
