this awesome thing, this…close acquaintance

which Jesus forged…?

If anyone asked me…how?

I really couldn’t say, as…

I am unlike Him, me being…so imperfect.

Absolutely not holy, at all…

I am, in fact, yes…a sinner.

All I know is…

each time I look for Him

there…He is…!

You see…

as far back as I can remember…

I had searched…

for…what? I didn’t even know.

All I knew…

whatever it was I needed to feel…complete…

I did not have.

This went on for years…

with my unidentified…thirst…

driving me to high and low trails…

where my parch was never quenched.

Then, one day…my nameless obsession…

that for which I …panted?

Well…

He…Found Me.

And now…

I will not let Him go.
