Luck of the Drawl
Luck of the drawl has been dealt
Cards turn over a bad beat
Anger so many have embraced
Sadness no one should have to face.
Loneliness is his playing world
A life spiraling out of control
Doing his best, but getting cold
Future of wins is all he wants to hold.
Gambling comes with a price
Many days there’s sacrifice
Lose some, win some is his certainty
A brain tumor is his destiny.
Deal the hand and play the cards
Today’s the Ace for you to see
Tomorrow’s the Royal Flush
That will set you free.
