*Crème de la Crème* Fairy tale wedding without an end It was crème de la crème. Pledging their vows for eternity Along side a river of serenity. Looking deep within his eyes She knew she had chosen wise. A man to love, honor and cherish Her husband – a gift sent from above. Looking deep within her eyes He knew he had chosen wise. A woman to love, honor and cherish His bride – her father’s pride. Her father and I sat quietly by Tears of joy fell from our eyes. God’s blessing of love for eternity Along side a river of serenity. As a parent to be able to watch our children marry someone we know in our hearts is a loving and perfect match is although sometimes sad (seeing another taking my little girl) it is also comforting and indeed a blessing.
