One Step Further Balancing on a tight rope That soon will be her past It’s all she can hope for Wishing it would last. Arms spread across miles Swaying back and forth She reaches for the sky Fear not in her blue eyes. A balancing act of pain Her legs often curse her No time to complain She takes, one step further.
