To hell with conservative compassion and benevolent hegemony.

Two terms, "conservative compassion" and benevolent hegemony," both philosophies of destruction, have been recorded in blood in the Twenty-first Century lexicon and annals. Currently, these philosophies are applied by the American Government that has wreaked havoc - death and misery - globally upon a significant percentage of the human population
President George W. Bush is the chief exponent of conservative compassion or, more correctly, what can be called cowboy capatlism. Of course, he is not alone. It is designed to assist the rich in getting richer, at the expense of the middle-class getting less and the poor getting poorer.
Compassion does not need a prefix or suffix to describe its characteristics. The best example of compassion we know, and yet one so simply understood, is the story of the Good Samaritan, as told by Jesus. It speaks of how a person being directed by love helped a person who was suffering. It is clear from this story that compassion has no connection with conservatism or liberalism or any other "ism." It stands on its own essence-sufficiency being always willing to help and to do no harm.
Benevolent hegemony, like conservative compassion is a misnomer and mischaracterization.
In fact, there is no such animal as conservative compassion or benevolent hegemony. Perpetrators of both these philosophies are frauds.
Hegemony, in demonstration, is a nation imposing its will upon another nation. It is a nation's arrogant zealotry outsourced in an attempt to control another nation. Military power and economic sanctions are the two most common means used to control another nation. Sometimes C.I.A-like tactics and other infiltration methods are used to divide and conquer the citizens of a nation.
Hegemony, the evil that it is, has no place anywhere in the world. A nation having superior military power does not have any right to impose her will and inflict wrath upon another nation.
Let us not be deceived by the purveyors of conservative compassion and benevolent hegemony. Let us be even more wary of their practices and determined to reject their usage of these terms. Let us embrace compassion and reject hegemony. We must openly declare that we are antihegemony and in so doing declare that "this is our America too!"
The United States Government's failure to come to the aid of people literally dying in New Orleans during and for several days after Katrina made land on the Gulf Coast and cutting taxes for the purpose of increasing the wealth of the rich while at the same time denying or withdrawing financial support from the programs that provide at least crumbs for the poor are examples and demonstrations of the United States Government practicing conservative compasssion. The United States Government's hegemony preemptive engagement in the war in Iraq and more than forty-year sanctions against Cuba and bringing hundreds of thousands of Cubans to the Untied States who should today be in Cuba are examples and demonstations of the United States Government practicing benevolent hegemony.
Conservative comapassion and benevolent hegemony are two evils and damnable American superpower practices that all Americans who believe in justice and peace should vigoriously oppose. There are many ways to oppose these practices. A person need only to be aware of what the American Government has done in the last five years and continues doing nationally and internationally to know what his/her response should be. Get involved! This is your America too!
