THE VOICE OF SILENCE

There is a time to be silent. There are messages residing in the soul that only "the voice of silence" can speak.

We have not yet learned how to be silent. Distractions! Distractions! Distractions!                              Sometimes  even  during  sleep  our  minds   ramble  with  thoughtless  thoughts and we become nightmarish chatterboxers.
There  are moments, however, when somehow and someway our minds are serendipitously mindfully mindless and our third ear hears "the voice of silence" saying something that we already know. In that aha moment we hear that we are loved. And we know who we are and Whose we are. Usually that aha moment is for a short duration but its effects may last long after the silence has ended.

When will we learn how to choose silence and add to the consciousness of humankind soul awakening?

Very much with you on this, we are inundated creatures high on sensory overload to our own detriment.

Excellent poem. Often it is said in improvement classes, "clear your head of all thoughts", that a very hard thing to do, with all the ramblings in there. And the old platitude "silence is golden" certainly rings true.
