Making a difference! Being a difference! Neither making or  being a difference is enough. Very often the difference we make or be is negative, counter-productive, or destructive. Our challenge and responsibility, individually, is to make and be a difference. But the difference we make and be need to be purposeful and positive. It need to be a Mutuality difference. A Mutuality difference has redeeming value. it is derived from applying the Mutuality philosophy to a situation and in livingness.

Mutuality is the concept of man as a responsible being, with his own happiness as the practical and ultimate purpose of his life, with empathy ever-present for others, with creative expression as his noblest activity, and love as his only absolute. Mutuality consists of seven principles, namely, responsibility, freedom, love, creativeness, self-transcendence, commitment and enjoyment.

Choose not to merely "make a difference" or "be a difference." Instead, choose to make a "Mutuality difference." Be aware that redemption is applied only to the situation specific. It is impermanent. Each making or being a difference act has redeeming value. Before committing an act ask yourself, "Does this act have redeeming value?"
