Just as most of our problems involve relationships, so do our joys. There is a way, available to all, to have meaningful relationships. This is the message presented in this meditation.
The simple but profound question is:"What
to do in relationhships?" The answer is:
listen, pray, be kind.
Neither a definition or explanation of these
three virtues is needed.
The problem is not that we do not know
how to listen, pray or be kind.
We know but being ego-driven we may
lack the will to act on what we know.
Ask yourself, "How may I help?" I can help by:
1. listening with my heart...an
empathetic ear,
2. praying in the Spirit...with
divine connectedness,
3. being kind...expressing acts
of kindness.
In relationships these are the keys that
pay life-enhancing dividends.
Let this be your mantra or daily affirmation
that you say aloud: "I will listen; I will
pray; I will be kind."
These relationship virtues are the greatest
gifts you can possess and share with
others.
Begin doing these things or do them more
often and you will experience an increase
in joy, love and peace.
It's Ok to be a virtuous person.
