It is in and through community that the world can have salvation, i.e., a healthy quality of life for all human beings, characterized by caring and sharing. In a word salvation is synonymous with "saved," from destructiveness or fear of destructiveness and "saved" to health and peace. The fear of destructiveness has caused humans to manipulate the environment, build dams, create pollution, fight wars, make weapons and arm citizens to kill fellow-citizens. All of which results from the lack of humans being in Lived Community.

The only viable alternative to the present condition of humans is Lived Community. Community is a comprehending and responsive unity of persons interacting in mutuality which is a gift of love. Community is characterized by "we-ness," common interest, honesty, caring and sharing. It begins with community consciousness which enables the practice of community. This way of being is called Lived Community because it is lived rather than "rhetoricized" or rationalized.

Commitment to the creative, collective and interrelational process provides an individual practitioner with the opportunity to compassionately share himself with other practitioners and release his talents while simultaneously receiving benefits from the experience. In community the weak is never weaker than the strong and the strong is never weakened by the weak because love prevails as the principal force and love given always returns better than it was before it was released. From the gift of love only enhancement of life is possible for all involved. It is always a win-win.

Although physical proximity is important, in Lived Community it is is not necessary for a person to reside in the same neighborhood or be in face-to-face contact with persons he is in community with. However, face-to-face interrelatedness is desirable and should be pursued when possible. Lived Community is a local and global phenomenon. It is spirt-propelled. Persons in community being of a kindred spirit are able to communicate and fellowship when they are not in physical proximity.

In Lived Community ESP (extrasensory perception) that embraces such phenomena as clairvoyance, telepathy and precognition is accessible to or can become accessible to community practitioners. By angelic-terrestrial and invisible means messages, healing and other gifts can be communicated or transported by non-conventional or super rational ways, that defy human understanding. In this regard, some prayers have been effective. This ability can be activated or applied by community practitioners to execute these transactions. I call this "virtual-terrestrial transaction." It is sending and receiving that transcend the five senses, but not the six and more senses. Therefore, operating in the spirit a Lived Community practitioner can be in community locally and globally. The spirit is not beholden to or limited by time and space. Yet, it operates in and outside of time and space.

What a wonderdful world there will be when Lived Community trumps nation, ethnicity, class, religion and, the elephant in the world, greed.
