Say Thank You lifts the spirit of
both the benefactor and beneficiary.
To say Thank You is to commit an
act of Kindness.
In the beginning of Creation God's first
act was to SAY "Let there be light."
When a disciple asked Jesus to teach
them how to pray, Jesus said:
"When you pray SAY "Our Father...
hallowed be your name."
These two acts of God and Jesus
underscore the importance of SAYING it.
To SAY is to express a thought verbally
in words. When appropriate saying maybe
accompanied with a smile, handshake,
kiss, hug, namaste greeting, etc.
SAYING elicits hearing from the listener,
even when the only listener is the sayer.
SAYING is music within the soul, it's soul
music. Just as a song is not a song until
it is sung, a thought is not music for the
soul until it is verbalized
Thank You is the phrase used to express
gratitude. It is a polite expression of
one's gratitude - being grateful, thankful
and appreciative for benefits received
which please the beneficiary.
The person SAYING Thank You is doubly
blessed, one time for having blessed
another person and another time for
blessing one's self
Like love, SAYING Thank You, returns
better than it was before it was extended -
given away. Although SAYING may be
supplemented with sending an email or
text, a facebook or twitter message,
making a telephone call or sending a
greeting card, none of these medias
nor all of them combinded are a subtitute
for SAYING Thank You.
Secondary means of expressing Thank You,
those other than SAYING Thank You, are
like getting your love by Telephone. Yes,
when you really want to love you want to
be face-to-face with your lover and SAY "I love you." And then SAY "Thank You.
