It Came to Pass -- It's Over.
What do these two phrases mean?
"It came to pass" means and "then this
happened - something different." "It's
over" means someone or something
is completely finished. It is finished.
Both phrases declare that somebody
or something has ended and is
followed by somebody or something
else. Even death is not without
something to follow that is new.
Another way  of saying this is that
and/or what is over ultimately is not
a void even if like the invisible air
that is present in an empty container
or space.
"This too shall pass" is a truth tha is
inevitable. Whatever exists  in a
person's experience will not remain.
It will be over. As the old spiritual says,
"Trouble won't last always." However,
enjoyale or delightful an experience may
be it too will end. It will not remain.
Like the peak experience that invariably
disappears.
Structures, systems and empires, as well
as customs and traditions cease to be
when "an idea whose time has come"
is activated in power and glory.
It may be gradual or sudden. What didn't
happen in a thousand years, may happen in
a year or less, or at the twinkling of an eye.
The Biblical phrase "And it came to pass"
is sprinkled throughout the Bible. It is the
antecedent of "Behold all things will be
made new.
Live with the awareness that a new day is
on the horizon.
The value, challenge or opportunity for the
person who would be fulfilled and happy
is to "Let go and let God."
This too shall pass ---It's over.
The good news is: there is always another
chance.
