I'm here...Can't you hear me?
Why don't you answer me ?
My eyes are closed but I know you're there.
I sense your presence. Don't do this to me.
Say something, anything. Have they sown
my lids shut? They're too heavy to move.
The pain of not seeing you is greater
than the physical pain.
This is not funny, it's unbearable.
Stop sobbing. Tell me what's wrong.
Why are you acting this way?
You're smothering me. Hey !
Finally, your holding my hand.
Was that too much to ask?
You're trembling...What's wrong?
I must have hurt you in some way...
Is that it? Answer me.
Don't let go. Don't leave. I'm sorry.
I can take the darkness as long as
there is you. Are you here? My body's
gone with the pain. I'm not alone.
It's not you. Who is it ? Answer me.
Wow, Paul! This one captivated me. I'd love to know what inspired this. Different for you, yet it holds your talent for drawing emotion and compassion from the reader. Eerie imagery. I can't help but imagine myself in this position. Bravo! Love and Hugs.

this is like the prelude to a dark dream. I am left only to imagine. I think I felt a chill while reading it. Excellent!

This was fabulous, Paul.
You just changed my writing style.I really liked it.
Paul,
This is sad, and yes haunting. I watched a very dear person to me in a coma, and there was nothing I could do, but talk to her and pray that she heard me.
There is a lot of pain here.
Very dramatic write. It seems to be about someone who is in a coma or dying, unable to understand why their loved one by the bed can't hear their thoughts. Is the other person an angel at the end? ......Sara
A stunning poem, Paul.Very gripping and intense.

A homonymless man writes shows what it's like to look up the laid he skirts when you’re lying prone(d) to the sidewalk, beer / joint / needle dangling from your hand /lips / arm.
Deputy Dave Jenkins investigates the murder of local high school principal, Jerry Egge, but this is a multi-faceted novel that deals with spiritualism, romance, friendship, and children who fall through the cracks.
