More fool me
for trusting you
what was I thinking,
believing you...?
More fool me,
not having a clue,
for ignoring the signs,
and wanting you.
More fool me,
'quel catastrophe!'
you hurt me again
and I've had enough.
More fool my heart,
in careless speed,
paid my cautious head
no heed.

Charlotte, what is the saying, or better the song? "Fools rush in where Angels fear to thread." We all have made fools of our selfs at one time or other. But we learn lessons when this happens and it makes it easieer not to make the same mistakes. Bill

I would much rather be a fool in life giving all as I had...for that embarrassment was but a state of mind. The emotion that I felt outweighed my foolishment and gave me the pride of knowing that I never held back.
Great write on this, Charlotte.
