Did you think of my face as you looked into her eyes? Did the guilt compel your blackened heart to me despise? Did you see an angel or a demon in disguise? Did you feel my heart beat as you looked into her eyes? Did you trust your instincts as you looked into her eyes? Did you apprehend my ever-weakened heart's demise? Did you think of telling me a twisted set of lies? ...or did you just forget me as you looked into her eyes?
