love torn asunder; living a lie....true love dies.....she cries...
I cry; heart in turmoil; life foiled; love is spoiled to no end
soul torn asunder by a love gone awry; he says goodbye
thought we had a love that would last into the wind;
I cry; true love never dies; he says it's all over; all over baby
I cry; my mind doesn't surrender to a tearing of my heart;
I remember what burned my heart to cinders; he used my
feelings to hinder my naive love of him; I cry; weak in all
limbs; I can't climb out of the dimness he has over my life
Still, I cry; not wanting to let it go; I try to make him see
that there still is a need in me; only he can set it free;
simply loving me is the key to setting my heart free; then I
can move on to find someone to love me for me
I cry; pillow wet from my tears; containing my fears of not
having him near; I listen for the sound of his key in the
lock of my heart; telling me I'm here; I still care; just can't
keep you near; asking why my dear; my heart flares; no
answer comes close to what I wanted to hear
I cry; no more visits for me; he has broken free; from loving
me; heart torn asunder by a forbidden love; love never meant
for me; he continued to romance me; led me on by chance that
we would be together; dancing to the mellow love music playing
in my head; now our love is dead; not to be re-read
I cry is about a woman that thought she had found true love to be lead astray by being naive to love; heart torn asunder she now has to cry for the love she has lost by sharing her innermost thoughts
What a heart wrenching poem. Breaking up with a loved up is always a very hard thing to. I hope writing this got some of the hurt out.
No one can understand who hasn't been there. God Bless.
