When Gregor Samsa
woke up from his dreams
he found he was
no longer what he seemed
at first he thought
he must have took bad drugs
cause in the mirror there
was an enormous bug
broken
everything was broken
look in the mirror broken
now we see
as through a glass
darkly
His father and beloved sister
were distressed by horror
overall
they thought that maybe
this was some morbid test
they thought that if he really loved them
he would crawl away and die
broken
everything was broken
look in the mirror broken
now we see
as through a glass
darkly
So Gregor Samsa
couldn't go to work
under the sofa
he was forced to lurk
and as his sister
played the violin
he knew that she'd
never play for him
if you were a cockroach
would you even know it
that was that
does anybody know themself
if you're a bug you
are only fit to be squashed
flat
you live in garbage
a world of filth
no hope of rescue
your life has gone tilt
and when Gregor Samsa
died under his bed
nobody noticed
that he was finally dead....
broken
everything was broken
look in the mirror broken
now we see
as through a glass
darkly
