God spoke unto Joshua
after Moses died

to take possession of the land
of Israel by His command

and all the land of the Hittites
to you it shall be given

this it shall be done."

whithersoever thou goest

and every place they tread upon
and every seed they sowed
they gave thanks to the Lord above
they knew what they had owed
and without a bit of fear
they did as they were told
and what was new they learned to do
but kept the faith of old
