TAXIS AND TATTOOS song lyrics by Joel Sattler Sunday bleeding out the boiling blood red light running out the endless gut night and day one and the same square of time insane of brain common crime and dirty rain take delight in the sound of chains subway rolling under Broadway lane crowds on fire screaming bars hot desire the world of Mars dodging lightning and razor cars taxis and tattoos taxis and tattoos read my skin for the daily news ride the yellow into the blues taxis and tattoos every church singing every tongue every bell mystified and rung dirt enveloping every pore mystery behind every door angels dancing with Harlem whores take the skyscraper to the top see the city that never stops take the whole out of every part race is finished before it starts give your all and it breaks your heart taxis and tattoos taxis and tattoos read my skin for the daily news ride the yellow into the blues taxis and tattoos ====================
