why does it make my heart
go hummingbird inside
the moment look at you
no sound to make can I

my tongue just will not work
and fire floods my skin
my eyes see not a thing
my ears they roar within

the sweat pours down my fall
and trembling seizes here
I'm paler than the grass
and short of death appear
