The O.C., The Oshawa Center, is the local mall.

not my usual scene
the shopping mall
lots of people, lots of noise
an intrusive hubbub rather than overheard conversation
12 noon food court
I’m drinking coffee and writing poetry
surrounded by the denizens of the place
grey hair and baseball caps, shoppers and lookers
sellers and buyers, walkers and talkers;
dudes and duds; takers and givers;
and me:

drinking coffee and writing poetry

wondering who the hell am I

writing poetry and drinking coffee

am I here or just observing

drinking coffee and writing poetry.

The only thing I like doing in a mall is people watch. Thank you for this slice of mall life. Love and peace to you. Regis
