this comes from my haiku project ... i'm posting it here now in response to ian thorpe's poem "the legacy". if you haven't done so please read ian's poem ...

sees what the wise will not see --
shouts to the world: "LOOK!" - I'd have written it differently : "Poet, foolish one
sees what the blind will not see -- shouts to the world: "Look!" ( forgive the intrusion, please.)
loved this ... it had me picturing hand-flapping and pointing mad poets, and the general public wishing (sometimes) that we were more adequately dosed on ritalin!!!
