Dark road riding west
from the sun’s rising;
westward riding
deeper into the gloom.
The night brings no relief
no solace nor peace
only conflict and terror.
Yet the terrors of night
the terrors of darkness
are to be preferred
to visions of the light.
In the light,
in the light
all possibilities
are equally real
equally present
equally terrorfying
in their reality,
presence and possibility.
Their terror is cumulative.
In the dark,
yes,
in the dark
there are terrors,
but one terror at a time.
Riding westward
from the suns riding;
dark road riding west

I wont be going down this road, no matter what....I hope.
Made me nervous!...great write.
