Summer came and I watched it through the half open blinds of my window. A gentle rain against the paint less pane, fall was here, I watched it from my window.
Never seems to be enough time to settle the confusion of one’s mind, things come and go but never does the heart move so slowly. I watched the seasons change from my window.
I made excuses to the one I loved found fear in everything she has done, blamed no one, sad how I let my mind go, I grew alone from my window.
A meadowlark landed and peered at me so far from its home. I cried and strained to see through eyes ashamed, the night grew cold. I watched through my window.
The streets are black shiny wet the lights yellow against the night sky and I am sorry I left in my mind, sorry I doubted, sorry about those things I saw beyond the paint less pane of my window.

pierces its heart with a thorn before it sings its songs of love. So do we all, how else could we sing?
From your window you watched the seasons change and the seasons witnessed in you the changes of a lifetime, and they smiled........................
As you can tell, I really liked this write as it inspired me to expand my thoughts...
how very nice indeed Eugene.
