Twas the time of night

When two hearts entwined as one

Giggles and laughter beating lives disasters

Survival their only prayer

Twas the time for spirits

To slip away in harmony

The symphony of love their sole companion

Drifting away on whispering winds

Twas the time for freedom of emotions deep

It ran freely from eyes to cheek

Shedding tears as promises were made

Twas the time, twas the pain deep within

As two lovers has only love to gain

Tomorrow might bring more pain

But love would never fade away

Twas the love of God

The night of dreams refrained

Twas before the break of day

He took her hand and showed the way

Were laughter played a song of solitude

Among clouds of pouring rain

Riding upon heavenly waves of love

Knowing no fear or physical pain…

Could ever hurt these hearts again

Twas the night in dreams so true

Before angels vows was due

To die together hand in hand

Twas their last request

To be one for all eternity
