As husband searched for tools one day
A small black kitten left his play
Each thing his master did I’d see
A small paw reaching helpfully
He did not pout when pushed aside
Hurt showed in his soft brown eyes
When called he came on hurrying feet
To offer love and pardon sweet
This is true forgiving love
Such as our savior offers us
This is actually a poem my Great Aunt wrote. She is a part of the inspiration behide my own writing. Many of my early works center around my memories of her and her life. She left this earth in 2001.

Join me as we travel together on the road called "Aging." I will be sharing my personal experiences with you and offer ideas on how we can better navigate the complex byways of our older years. Grief, healing, generations, ancestors, and more.
After a long awaited weekend visitation caused by false allegations of sexual abuse, Glen got to see his children for the first time in over two months. He promised them that they would never be apart again and then they disappeared.
