I'm with you there on that porch sipping a nice, steaming cup of tea! This one was especially nice to read today, as I look out my window and see snow where just a few days ago I was looking at some new, green sprouts pushing out of the ground where I planted last fall's bulbs. I'm reminded of my sister's porch in Pennsylvania, and it's a lovely thing to envision. Thank you for sharing this experience so eloquently!

Thank you for reminding me of what Spring is like.....living in Florida sometimes I think I forget the significance of the little things like buds and birds.

A very lovely visionary write!!
The robins at my house must have thought we didn't get a winter this year...for they never left the yard...even when we had 8 inches of snow everywhere...LOL

Woody Woodpecker stops by every spring, wakes me in the morning, gives Rufuz something to chase at night.
