Wandering aimlessly through
The forest, one uncertain day
Accompanied By my shadow
Short cutting through a forest
Of unrest
On my way home, some may say
I noticed
Something about my companion
Was all wrong
He seemed distorted,
Not all there,
From being assaulted
By sunrays
Along the way
Through darken lanes
Of a forest deep
Where tree branches reach out
Like human hands
To embrace your soul
Forever your mind to keep.
