I sat in my garden
Enjoying a lovely, spring day
Watching my grand daughters
Happy at play.
I heard the heavy buzzing
Of a bumle bee
Flying around near me
Then there were two.
Chasing each other
all around me
Headed higher and higher
Within my mind, to the tune
Of
"The Flight Of The Bumble Bee.
As reality brought me back
To the rhythm and rhyming
Of kiddy song
Making me laugh.
It took me a while
to understand
The words they were singing
So giggly and full of laughter
As they rhymed.
Grandma And Grandpa
Sitting on a three
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
First came love
Then came marriage
Then came baby
Sitting in a carriage
Sucking on his thumb
Doody in his pants
Then he does
The Hula Hula.
I was amazed at these
Five year old twins
How much they have grown
From 6 pounds
Seven months preemies.
God bless them all
With a three year old sister
Just as active
Rhyming along.
For sure it is nice to have grandkids..the old saying "If I knew they were going to be so much fun we would have had them first"..really enjoyed this and many times that is me enjoying them here..

Oh now that is something to feast one's eyes upon, The Grandma and Grandpa still intimate.
How I miss the Bumble Bee, we dont have them here in OZ, and they are an aerodynamic impossibility LOL, bit like the jumbo Jets.

This made me so glee it is beautiful and the imagery and rhyme is outstanding William.
