The beautiful Esmeralda
Has met her untimely
Death
Quasimodo perched
Hight atop of Notre Dame
Remembering the beauty
That stole his
Now shattered heart.
As he mourns
With tears streaming,
Down his face
At the heights,
He feels in place.
He leans against
A stone gargoyle, feeling the cold
Soothing granite
On his sweat drench face
sighing
Why was I not,
Born like thee?
