Why
Oh Lord
Do I ache so much?
As I greet the beauty
Of this new morning
On a lovely spring day
What have I done?
I pray
I should never say
During my life time
To dream such pain
So early in the morning
Making it last
Throught the misery
Of someday.
~*~

I used to enjoyed myself
Just resting
With my forearm
With my clinched fist
On my forehead
My eyes would seem closed
Thinking
Listening to the world
And all that surrounds me
Remember my fist?
It's no longer there
Nor is my painful forearm
That was attached.
~*~

How can I forget?
They had brought me
Constant pain
Well they were
Miss diagnosed
Thank God,
For no more pain
That forearm
Is no longer there
Now I lay on my bed
Resting my eyes
With my Right arm
At my side
Thinking and relaxing
My eyes are closed
My mind is alert
I am afraid to move
My arm
Cause of my pain
I no longer question
I no longer complain.
