I wrote a poem
It made you cry
I wrote a verse
That made you smile
I've written lines
Where tears, were left behind
Once I wrote a sonnet
There was actully, nothing on it
That made no sense
I could see your pride
Was not left behind
I wrote some rhymes
For a broken heart
Had no rhythm, at various times
To do some mysterious work
Hidden among
A few crazy lines.

"I Wrote A Poem" is a very intriguing composition... An enjoyable reading with a lot of esoteric emotions in it.

Many poems and lines are too personal to share. I have some hidden away as well.

You write beautiful poems most of the time. Thank you for sharing!

I like the ending in this one. Isn't that we try to do when we write poems? Hope that somehow, in some way, something we've written touches another. Well done.
