I am ready
She patiently declared
Dressed to go shopping
Looking so beautiful
In her red sleeveless pull over
And peddle pusher jeans
She wore her lovely, graying hair
High on a bun
Soft opened, high heel shoes
Toes painted elegantly
Fire engine red.
As words exit my lips
Professing, my awe
Of the lovely vision before me
You're so beautiful
I whispered, with a kiss.
I love when men
Look in her direction
Fantasizing
I see it, on their faces
Knowing, she'll never stray
Past the stare
keeping them, in their places
I envy the thoughts
Within their minds
In my nights
I sleep well
With her by my side
Baby!
I am heavenly blest
Because she is mine.
So much love in your life with her. May you always be a happy as you are and stay in love. Love makes the world go around and more of it is needed in this day and age. Your writes are simply and truly gracefully written with love.

Very well said. The mistake I make is that I mistake admiration for love. Then get mortally wounded..

So wonderful to be proud of your Lady. This is stunningly beautiful!
And you had best treat her as beautifully as she does sound or there will be hell to pay...a wonderfully excellent tribute to the better half of you and she...Peace bro', Ed & Rufuz
