A quite profound piece, William. When studying our human history, I've often wondered whether organized religion has been a blessing, or a curse, to mankind. True, it's brought some good things, but it's also brought tons of violence, and sparked bloody bloody wars.

William, We've certainly come a long way not to be going anywhere. Sometimes I think we are going backwards.
Truly an inspiring piece of writing..I'm just glad the churches have remembered their real role. Peace. The teachings of peace.

Yes but we in the west have moved from medieval Times.
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
